Responsibilities:
- Prepare legal documents, file pleadings, organize case files, obtain medical records - Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness - Answer phone calls and take messages with proper phone etiquette - Transcribe dictations and prepare legal correspondence - Manage document management systems and maintain electronic and physical files - Provide administrative support to attorneys
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a legal secretary or in a similar role - Proficient in data entry, clerical tasks, and proofreading - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Familiarity with document management systems and legal terminology - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks - Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Note:
