Quick Apply Full-time 9 hours ago Full Job Description Winter & Duffy Law is presently seeking an Associate Attorney specializing in Family Law to join our bustling, team-oriented law firm.
Our firm represents clients in Montgomery, Bucks, Lehigh, and surrounding counties.
We are seeking a motivated team member with exceptional communication, litigation and client relation skills.
Candidate must be extremely organized, efficient, detail-oriented and able to work independently on files.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
We offer a competitive package to includes yearly salary, origination bonus incentive, generation bonus incentive, benefits and eligibility for semi & annual bonuses.
Preferred candidates must have the following qualities:
Minimum of three (3) years experience practicing Family Law; Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with clients, court, opposing counsel and firm staff; Must be friendly and engaging with clients and staff members; Knowledgeable, attentive and proactive; Responsive to client and attorney requests; Able to work independently, manage workflow, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, small business environment; Willing to be a strong advocate for clients; Must have litigation experience with the ability to try cases if necessary; Proficient in MS Word and Adobe and comfortable learning new programs.
Knowledge of MyCase and/or family law software is a plus; Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
Job duties:
Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence and attend court appearances; Advocate on behalf of the client's interests; Highly motivated, able to manage/prioritize large caseload; Strong organizational and time management skills; Comply with all client and firm standard operating procedures; Consulting with clients, providing counsel, helping them understand their legal options, establishing strategies and representing them in court and negotiations; Compassion and empathy for clients and talent for gaining confidence and respect; A willingness to work hard to ensure our clients receive exemplary service and results.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
