Summary:
As a Sr.
Supply Planning Analyst for Dayton Parts, you will be in a leadership position; responsible for developing future state planning processes that align with the capabilities of SAP and integrate the current supply planning module (Demand Caster) in order to ensure the Dayton supply planning team can leverage both platforms to drive business excellence.
You will be also expected to understand current business needs so you can work cross functionally to generate and lead initiatives that will improve serviceability, inventory goals, and reduce the length of our supply chain.
This position requires extensive intradepartmental and cross-functional collaboration to support the Supply Chain Management organization.
Primary Duties:
Develop best in class supply planning processes and provide guidance to all Buyer Planners to guarantee these processes are maximized to drive proactive and forward-looking actions.
Build detailed comprehensive test plans based on planning processes that are inclusive of all business-critical needs.
Participate in end user testing, manage risks, problem solve and create solutions to ensure all scoped out business needs are integrated successfully amongst the two platforms.
Design and implement a change management plan which includes rolling out training modules, ensuring every stakeholder is equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to harness the new system effectively.
Fulfill supply chain responsibilities as an active member of the HD cross-functional team.
Manage continuityof supply and inventory investments in accordance with mission critical business objectives (e.
g.
FillRates, Inventory).
Communicate and organize the information for fill rate root cause analysis and preventativemaintenance for projected fill for the team.
Recommend and implement any planning parameterchanges to avoid future service levels shortfalls.
Aligning commercial strategies with planning and procurement ensuring that supply plan will satisfy thedemand plan.
This includes supporting new product launches and ensuring product availability for new business launchesSupport and develop the supply chain management strategies to optimize supply chain investments,improve supply/demand processes and meet/exceed customer serviceability requirements.
Support, develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, improve lead times,accelerate speed to market and reduce supply chain risks.
Assist the Supply Chain Managers in developing organizational competency and strength.
Stayabreast of advances in the area of supply chain management and advanced planning systems.
Qualifications:
Strong written and oral communications skills - including executive presentation skillsStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated competency with cross-functional engagement and collaborationProven analytical, problem solving, and decision- making skillsProficient computer skills - particularly Microsoft Office applicationsProficient in SAP (3-5 years)APICS Certification RecommendedPhysical Requirement :
Capability to lift 20 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen.

Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with concentration in one or more of the following disciplines:
Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Business.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
